mcseifu and MCdays
I miss mcseifu! I really do.
When I was a kid, practically every adult told me that high school was the best years of their lives.
I believe it now.
It's jst too bad that I dont have many pictures of those fond memories. Jst too bad...
The good old days..

The story of my hair
Me before perm (webcam in my old dorm)
Yes, people. I permed my hair about a month ago cuz I was super super bored with my hair haha. This is a certain trait that all girls possess I think... that is to be driven by an urge to undergo a change once in awhile.
I originally did not intend on optioning for the perm. I thought I would just have a light brown hair dye with blonde highlights. All I wanted was a change.
However, this hairdresser that my mom's friend introduced decided that I should use a perm. In fact, he thought (and I quote) that my hair was in desperate need of a 'little wave' in order to look its best. Well, I quickly discovered that I am one that finds it difficult to voice my opinions to strangers when I was reluctantly pressured into a perm+hair colour with highlights+treatment that costed me a whopping RM350. It should be regarded as a pretty good deal but unfortunately, I went in originally with something else in mind. (I think I learned my lesson.)
By the way, that man was named Michael. I now absolutely detest that name.
Anyway, I didn't like it at first. My reflection in the mirror just didn't seem right. The texture of my hair wasn't smooth anymore. It now felt rough, damaged and... curly. My "waves" didn't turn out like how I imagined it would be. I swear that if my hair was golden blonde, I would've looked something like Goldilocks.
Well, fortunately, I grew to like it after some time. And although some people commented that I now look old enough to be someone's Mommy, I liked the fact that I didn't need to worry about bad hair days. It could be styled in a jiffy. The only burden was that I needed to gel it all the time so that I wouldnt lose my curls, given that my hair is naturally straight.
And the funny thing is, when you start to like what you see in the mirror, people around you start giving you positive feedbacks too.
So yeah, basically, I think that it's true that we have to love ourselves first. Because, if you love yourself, then people around you will love you too. It makes sense doesnt it? You feel good about yourself, and then you're more confident. You hold your head higher up. You tend to smile at other people first. Your good mood is contagious. People around you smile more. And they like you for putting them in a good mood too. It makes sense, doesnt it?
Anyways, haha, all this hair talk should be boring people out.
But hey, girls, you should understand eh? ;)
